Dr. Amalia Maloco earned her education from Kansas University and Central Luzon State University. She had experience working as a critical care and regular veterinary technician for 8 years before becoming a veterinarian. Her areas of expertise include preventive medicine for small animal, dentistry, routine surgeries, and soft tissue surgeries. Her areas of interest include internal medicine and emergency care. Exceptional veterinary care is incredibly important to Dr. Maloco. She is committed to exemplifying professionalism in caring for clients’ pet’s needs by providing incredible patients care and customer service. Communication and interaction play a pivotal role in her interactions with her clients. Dr. Maloco and her husband Ruel have two children, Peter and Noell. They also have a variety of their own furry friends including: Annabeth, a Yorkie; Emma, a Chihuahua; and Muning, a cat. When Ami isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, shopping, collecting seashells, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Dr. Seaman is a 1985 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. Following a year of mixed animal practice in upstate New York, Dr. Seaman returned to Cornell to teach and to complete a two year residency in veterinary anesthesia in 1988. Since that time, Dr. Seaman has been the owner/operator of the Canisteo Veterinary Hospital through August 2023. He is very thankful to the Canisteo community for accepting and supporting him and his family during these many years. When not working, Dr. Seaman enjoys fishing, hiking and sewing.

After graduating from high school in Rochester, NY, Roxanne attended Alfred State College. She then graduated from Alfred in their first Veterinary Technology class. After a brief experience in animal research, she started working at the Canisteo Veterinary Hospital, where she has stayed for 21 years! In her spare time, she has raised 2 incredible boys and many animals. Her hobbies include watching horror movies and cooking.
Tiffany has had a lifelong passion for animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to work in the veterinary field. She graduated from Alfred State College in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and went on to pass her VTNE, becoming a licensed veterinary technician.
She spent six years in general practice and one year in emergency medicine, gaining valuable experience and insight into all aspects of animal care. Outside of work, Tiffany lends her support to a friend’s cat rescue, further demonstrating her commitment to animal welfare. Tiffany lives with her husband, Kenny, and their two children, Sam and Dean. Their home is also shared with four dogs and many cats, making every day full of energy and love.
Ruel has extensive experience in business development and relationship building with excellent customer service philosophy. He earned his MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY and Business Administration degree from Albright College, in Reading, PA, as well as a computer programming degree from The Chubb Institute in Jersey City, NJ. Ruel served with the PA National Guard for 9 years. He received several merits and an award for serving and being deployed in Iraq in 2008-2009. Together Ruel and his wife Ami have two children, Peter and Noell, as well as a number of pets! Their pets include Annabeth, a Yorkie; Emma, a Chihuahua; and Muning, a cat.
Noell graduated from SUNY Geneseo in the summer of 2023, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. When not at the office, fixing broken computers and machines, he likes to spend his time at home fixing broken computers and machines. A computer enthusiast, he enjoys spending hours building and testing computers and finding new uses for old hardware. He also cares for 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 freshwater fish tanks, and soon to be a hamster also named Noell. His prized fish is a female Green Terror Cichlid and an Albino Oscar fish.
Between her 2 dogs, 5 cats, and her saltwater fish tank, Jena lives and breathes caring for animals. Jena has been caring for our clients and patients since 2019. Beyond her love for animals, she enjoys spending time with her 3 kids. Jena also spends her spare time as the Cheer Coordinator for the Canisteo Cheer Youth League and will occasionally coach for the Youth Softball League.
Paige is a dedicated veterinary assistant at the Canisteo Veterinary Hospital, committed to providing compassionate and attentive care to every patient. With a strong interest in animal health and well-being, Paige takes pride in supporting both the veterinary team and the clients who trust their pets to our care.
Outside of work, Paige enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking with their dog, Max. At home, they are also the proud pet parent of two cats, Moe and Chloe, who add plenty of personality to daily life. Paige values building trusting relationships with both animals and their owners and is passionate about contributing to a positive, supportive environment at the clinic.
Sequoya works as both a Client Service Representative and a Veterinary Assistant. She shares her home with a fun loving crew of pets – her dog, Kodak, and three cats named Kaddie, Pippen, and WillBill – as well as her two young children, her 5-year-old son and her 2-year-old daughter. When she’s not caring for animals at the clinic or chasing after her little ones at home, she enjoys camping, going to concerts, and playing video games. Her love for animals and friendly nature make her a familiar and trusted face for clients and their pets.
